SARAH E. IGO has been named the Andrew Jackson Professor of American History at Vanderbilt University. She is also professor of law, professor of political science, professor of sociology and director of the American Studies program at the university. Igo earned a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and a doctorate from Princeton University.
