The 270,000-square-foot building will house 200 offices, 46 specialized labs, 28 classrooms and eight computer labs. It features a portrait of former engineering dean and president Dr. Martin “Jerry” Abegg and a bust of economics professor and one-time provost Dr. Kal Goldberg. The goal of the center is to give students an opportunity to explore the intersection of business and engineering.

The Business and Engineering Convergence Center attracted the largest number of individual donors of any Bradley University project, President Gary Roberts told the crowd at Friday’s event. He said classes will be offered there “within the next few weeks.”
