Carol LeeCAROL D. LEE has been named presidentelect of the National Academy of Education. Professor emerita in the School of Education and Social Policy at Northwestern University and past president of the American Educational Research Association, Lee holds a bachelor’s in secondary school English education from the University of Illinois, as well as a master’s in English and a doctoral degree in education from the University of Chicago.
