Eddie MonteiroEddie Monteiro has been named senior vice president and chief operating officer of Educational Testing Service (ETS), the organization announced on Monday.
In his new role, Monteiro will manage the areas of student and teacher assessments, technology and customer operations.
Most recently, Monteiro worked as senior vice president of global business and technology services at Pearson™ PLC, where he oversaw various initiatives to improve overall cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction, ETS reported.
“Eddie joins ETS with extensive knowledge of business operations and assessment production and delivery, and a drive to ensure our business is operating efficiently in alignment with our mission, vision and values,” Dr. Walt MacDonald, CEO of ETS, said in a statement. “I look forward to Eddie joining our executive team and supporting our continued efforts to advance quality and equity in education for all learners.”
