Elabrent ChriteE. LABRENT CHRITE has been appointed president of Bentley University. He will be the first Black president at the university. Currently president at BethuneCookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida, Chrite holds a bachelor’s degree in community health services from Michigan State University, a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Ph.D. in education and management from the University of Michigan.
