E. LABRENT CHRITE has been appointed president of Bentley University. He will be the first Black president at the university. Currently president at BethuneCookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida, Chrite holds a bachelor’s degree in community health services from Michigan State University, a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Ph.D. in education and management from the University of Michigan.
