Posse Foundation Partner with Miranda Family Fund and CalArts to Launch Creative Arts Scholarships

The Posse Foundation has partnered with the Miranda Family Fund and the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) to launch a creative arts pipeline to arts-oriented colleges and universities, according to Posse officials.

Posse Foundation E1618590551756The program, called the Arts Posse Initiative, will select winners for leadership potential and artistic ability. Arts Posse Scholars will get full-tuition scholarships from participating institutions, eight months of pre-college training and faculty mentoring.

CalArts will select its first cohort of Arts Posse Scholars this fall.

“Over the next five years, Posse plans to expand the program to include five top-tier arts colleges. At capacity, the program will support 250 Arts Posse Scholars annually, providing more than $10 million in full-tuition scholarships each year,” according to Posse officials.
