ARIETTA VÁZQUEZ has been appointed associate dean for student diversity at the Yale School of Medicine. Professor of pediatrics and founder and director of the Yale Children’s Hispanic Clinic, she researches the clinical epidemiology of infectious diseases in children focusing on the efficacy of vaccines. Vázquez is a graduate of Yale University and earned her medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico.
