Goodwin Liu

Liu GoodwinGoodwin Liu is an associate justice of the California Supreme Court. He has also been a member of the University of California- Berkeley Law faculty. Liu earned tenure in 2008 and was associate dean from 2008 to 2010. In 2009, Liu won the UC Berkeley Distinguished Teaching Award. His primary areas of expertise are constitutional law, education law and policy, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Liu attended Oxford University on a Rhodes scholarship and earned a master’s degree in philosophy and physiology.
