Louisiana-Lafayette Provost Takes Wisconsin System Job

LAFAYETTE, La. ― University of Louisiana at Lafayette Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs James Henderson will leave his position this month to become vice president for academic and student affairs for the University of Wisconsin System.

The Advertiser reports Louisiana-Lafayette President E. Joseph Savoie made the announcement Monday. Henderson will serve at UL through the month and start at the UW System on March 15.

Henderson has served as provost, the second-highest ranking position at Louisiana-Lafayette since January 2014.
