ALVIN-ALVAREZALVIN ALVAREZ has been appointed dean of the College of Health and Social Sciences at San Francisco State University. He is interim dean of the College of Health and Social Sciences and a professor at San Francisco State. Alvarez earned bachelor’s degrees from the University of California, Irvine and a master’s and a doctorate from the University of Maryland, College Park.
