ALFREDO ARTILES has been appointed dean of graduate education at Arizona State University Tempe. He was associate dean of academic affairs and Ryan C. Harris Professor of Special Education at Arizona State. Artiles earned a bachelor’s from the Universidad Rafael Landívar in Guatemala, and a master’s and a doctorate from the University of Virginia.
