Richard Cordray Selected Chief Operating Officer of Federal Student Aid
Richard Cordray, former director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and former Attorney General of Ohio, has been selected chief operating officer of Federal Student Aid. For six years, Cordray was the first director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Cordray was also Ohio Treasurer and the state’s first Solicitor General.
