ANGELA E. BATISTA has been named special adviser to the president for diversity and inclusion at Champlain College. She was previously interim chief diversity officer at Oregon State University, where she also served as associate vice provost for student affairs and dean of student life. Batista earned a bachelor’s degree from Brooklyn College, a master’s degree from the University of Vermont and an Ed.D. from Nova Southeastern University.
