CHRISTINE D. B Christine Boyd OYD has been selected as the director of media relations for The University of Akron’s Department of Communications and Marketing. She previously served as executive director of marketing and chief public and media relations officer at Hiram College. Boyd received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mount Union and a MBA from Lake Erie College.
