Carolyn Dillon is the new coordinator of staff diversity at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. Most recently, she was manager of human resources for the university's spin-off Carnegie Technology Education. Dillon earned a bachelor's from Governors State University in Illinois and a master's from the University of Pittsburgh.

Arthur L. Gregg has been named director of the newly created multicultural center at the University of Texas at Dallas. Previously, Gregg was director of special services at the university. He earned a bachelor's from the University of Houston and a master's from Dallas Baptist University.
Dr. Kenda Mutongi has been promoted to associate professor of history with tenure at Williams College in Massachusetts. Mutongi has taught at Williams since 1996 and serves as chairwoman of the African and Middle Eastern Studies program. She earned a bachelor's in history and English from Coe College and a doctorate in history from the University of Virginia.
Dr. Margo Okazawa-Rey is the new director of the Women's Leadership Institute and visiting professor of Women's Studies at Mills College in Oakland, Calif. Previously, she was a professor of social work at California State University, San Francisco. Okazawa-Rey earned a bachelor's from Capital University in Ohio, a master's from Boston University and a doctorate from Harvard University.
Larry Palmer has been appointed to the faculty of the Institute for Bioethics, Health Policy and Law in an endowed chair in urban health policy at the University of Louisville. Previously, Palmer was a professor at Cornell University Law School. He earned a bachelor's from Harvard and a law degree from Yale Law School.
Lee Young has been appointed assistant vice chancellor for enrollment management and director of admissions at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Prior to this appointment, he served as associate vice president for enrollment management at Indiana State University. Young received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Jackson State University.
