Valecia Brooks is the new director of development and community relations for the College of Law at Florida International University. Brooks comes to FIU from Orlando, where she owned her own marketing and consulting agency. Brooks earned a bachelor’s from the University of Florida.

Louis Brownlowe has been named dean of the division of university studies at Cleveland State University. Previously, he was interim dean. Brownlowe earned a bachelor’s from Miles College and a master’s from Cleveland State.
Karl Dorrell has been named head football coach at the University of California at Los Angeles. Dorrell comes to UCLA from the Denver Broncos, where he was in his third year as the coach of the wide receivers. He also previously played with the Dallas Cowboys. Dorrell earned a bachelor’s from UCLA.
Angelia Millender has been appointed campus operating officer and dean of campus development at Berkeley College’s Westchester campus in New Jersey. Previously she served as vice president and dean of students at Robert Morris College in Chicago. Millender holds a bachelor’s from Chicago State University and a master’s from National Louis University.
Dr. Anthony Negbenebor is the new dean of the school of business at Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina. He is a professor of economics and international business at the university. Negbenebor earned bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees from Mississippi State University.
Reginald L. Robinson has been named president and CEO for the Kansas Board of Regents. Robinson has been chief of staff for University of Kansas Chancellor Robert Hemenway since 1998. He earned a bachelor’s from the University of Kansas and a juris doctorate degree from the University of Kansas Law School.
