Ervin most recently was career planning specialist and instructor at the University of Mississippi in Oxford. She earned a bachelor's from Jacksonville State University and a second bachelor's and master's from the University of Alabama. |
| John E. Holmes is the new assistant vice president of academic affairs at Tougaloo College in Mississippi. Previously, he was chief adviser of freshman and transfer students at Jackson State University. Holmes earned a bachelor's and two master's degrees, all from Jackson State University. |
| Kathryn Jehle has been named vice president of finance at Johnson C. Smith University in North Carolina. Since June 2001, she has served as interim vice president. Jehle earned a bachelor's and a master's of business administration from the University of Michigan. |
