Dr. Richard Cosby has been named director of athletics at Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Ala. He earned a bachelor's degree in physical education and elementary education from Delta State University, a master's in social work administration from the University of Tennessee and a doctorate in sports administration and physical education from the Union Institute for Advanced Studies. |
| Dr. Bernard Franklin has been named senior vice president for governance and membership for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) effective Nov. 1. He earned a bachelor's in religion from Simpson College, a master's in education from Western Maryland College and a doctorate in education from Columbia University Teachers College. |
