Dr. Ronald S. Bakari has been appointed dean of students at Drake University in Iowa. Previously, he was an assistant dean at Hartwick College. Bakari earned a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a doctorate from the University of Northern Colorado. |
Patrice Coleman-Boatwright has been named director of college and community relations at the College of New Jersey. Previously, she was executive assistant to the president for community relations. Coleman-Boatwright earned a bachelor's in foreign languages and literature from the University of Hartford and a master's in student personnel from Central Connecticut State University. |
| Dr. Derrek Butler Dunn has been named chair of the department of electronics and computer technology at North Carolina A&T State University. Dunn earned a bachelor's in mathematics and electrical engineering from North Carolina A&T, a master's in mathematics and electrical engineering and a doctorate in electrical engineering all from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. |
| Dr. Margaret Montgomery-Richard is the new chancellor of the Louisiana Technical College. Most recently, she was a senior vice president for academic and student services with the Louisiana Community and Technical College System. She earned a bachelor's from Southeastern Louisiana University, and a master's and doctorate from the University of New Orleans. |
| Dr. Debbie A. Owens has been named head of the electronic media sequence in the department of journalism and mass communications at Murray State University in Kentucky. Owens joined the faculty last fall as an associate professor.
