There is more to these four words than meets the eye. Yes, with this edition, Black Issues In Higher Education magazine becomes Diverse: Issues In Higher Education. But the change involves more than just a new name. Diverse, as the name implies, will seek to examine a larger and broader array of issues affecting all people of color in higher education. Our coverage will expand to be more pluralistic, inclusive and multicultural. The interconnectedness, as well as the dichotomy of issues affecting African-Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanics and American Indians will be presented in greater detail. Diverse will be just that!

We are certain you will find this two-part interview compelling and thought provoking. Their conversation highlights the complexities of diversity and group identity.
