Disbursement of Federal Financial Aid to Affected Louisiana Universities

In response to the financial loss caused by Hurricane Katrina, Congress allocated $95 million to Louisiana universities, approximately three-quarters of which will be distributed to schools proportionate to their loss of revenue.
