Skop Ahna 2Ahna Skop is an associate professor in the Department of Genetics at the University of Wisconsin- Madison . An artist and expert in microscope techniques for biology, Skop is known for her microscopic images of cells caught in the act of splitting. Her research team focuses on learning the secrets of cell division, hoping to understand the mysteries of cytokinesis and improve treatments for diseases like cancer. She received the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers in 2007.
