The Flap Over 9/11 Conspiracies

The article (see “Conspiracies Continue to Abound Surrounding 9/11,” Sept. 7) seems focused on pooh-poohing the “conspiracy theory” rather than illuminating some of the scientific questions that the scholars are raising. I am much more interested in knowing why these faculty members are not convinced by the official reports. The unpopularity of their ideas is predictable and is not news, just flap.
