Released in February, this book is a collection of profiles, most
of which have appeared in The New Yorker magazine over the past decade.
Personalities such as Colin Powell, Louis Farrakahn, Harry Belafonte,
James Baldwin, and Albert Murray are included, offering diverse and
insightful portraits of prominent African American men and the lives
they lead.
