Sophomore Shavon Shields plays guard and forward for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Huskers. During his freshman year in 2012-13, he played in 29 games, racking up a .676 free-throw percentage and 5.1
rebounds per game. As a two-time Big Ten Freshman of the Week, Shields was 11th in conference rebounding.  A microbiology major, Shields was onthe Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in 2012 and 2013.
