Earlham College Opens Courses to Alumni and Public

Earlham College is offering nine of its online courses to alumni and the general public this summer as part of its new Online@Earlham initiative.

Earlham College Scaled E1616084116545Current students, Earlham alumni and the general public can now register through May 12 or until classes fill up.

Registrants must hold a high school diploma, must meet Earlham’s admissions requirements and can only take one course during the term.

The classes will be in an accelerated, seven-week format that starts May 26 and ends July 15 at a discounted tuition rate of 65%. Each class will be worth three credits toward a bachelor’s degree.

Class topics include personal finance, the history of medicine through epidemics, Chinese love stories, business communications, history of rock-and-roll, introduction to psychological perspectives, trauma-informed classroom and social emotional learning, motivations and emotion, financial accounting, and banking and monetary policy, according to Earlham officials.
