NEWTONA “TINA” JOHNSON
NEWTONA “TINA” JOHNSON has been appointed interim vice provost for academic affairs at Middle Tennessee State University. She was a professor of English and director of the university’s women’s and gender studies program. KEITH YAMAMOTO has been named vice chancellor for science policy and strategy at the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF). He was vice dean in the School of Medicine and vice chancellor for research at UCSF. Yamamoto earned a bachelor’s from Iowa State University and a doctorate from Princeton University.

ANGELA FELECIA EPPS has been named dean of the Florida A&M University (FAMU) College of Law, effective January 4. She is a professor of law at the William H. Bowen School of Law at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Epps earned bachelor’s degrees from Cornell College in Iowa and a juris doctor from Creighton University in Nebraska.
