Professional Appointments

DR. Y.T. SHAH has been named provost of Norfolk State University (Va.), effective in July. He currently serves as director of the Center for Advanced Fuel Technologies at the University of Central Missouri. He received a bachelor’s from the University of Michigan and a master’s and doctorate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

DR. SANJOY BANERJEE has been named Distinguished Professor of Chemical Engineering at the City College of New York’s Grove School of Engineering. He earned a bachelor’s from the India Institute of Technology and a doctorate from the University of Waterloo in Canada.

 

 

DR. REBECCA HERNÁNDEZ has been named the project director of the Center for Intercultural Teaching and Learning at Goshen College (Ind.). Hernández earned a bachelor’s from Southeastern College, a master’s from Portland State University and a doctorate from Oregon State University.

DR. CARLOS R. MORALES has been named executive director of eCampus and Learning technologies at Lock Haven University (Pa.). Morales received a bachelor’s and master’s from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico and a doctorate from Capella University.

 

 

KIMBERLY REESE has been named director of alumni relations at Xavier University of Louisiana’s Institutional Advancement Division. Previously, she served as assistant dean for student programs in the university’s student affairs division. Reese earned a bachelor’s from Xavier and a master’s from the University of New Orleans.
