Homecoming HBCU-style

Each year, Black college alumni and spectators alike travel from miles around to revel in the magic that is homecoming. The nostalgia for college days is relived as old friends recall forgotten memories and create new ones. Celebrity sightings cause school pride to ascend to higher heights. Popular actors and musicians affirm what alumni have always known.

Their school is the best. Greek-letter organizations parade the school’s main quadrangle as a synchronized marching band ostentatiously supplies the score. Cool autumn weather and familiar southern cuisine set the stage for a lively competition as an overcrowded arena of raucous fans cheer on the home team.
