Focus Group: College Students Don’t Know Where to Buy Stamps

Some college students in Fairfax County, Virginia said they aren’t mailing in their absentee ballots, simply because they don’t know where to buy a postage stamp, according to a WIVB report.

Those are the findings of a Fairfax County focus group, which polled interns working in different Fairfax County Government offices.

County officials said they caution students against making their absentee ballot request form invalid by not listing their home address in the correct area because they confused it with the address where they want the ballot sent, according to the report.
