TANYA DARBY has been named chair of the Brass Department at Berklee College of Music. Currently, she is an assistant professor of lead trumpet at University of North Texas. Darby received a bachelor’s degree in jazz performance from the Manhattan School of Music and a master’s degree in jazz performance from Rutgers University.
