Maria Donoghue MARIA DONOGHUE VELLECA has been appointed the Herbert J. and Ann L. Siegel Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Lehigh University. Prior to her new role, she was senior associate dean for faculty affairs and strategic planning at Georgetown College. Donoghue Velleca earned a bachelor’s degree from Boston College and a Ph.D. in molecular and cellular biology from Washington University in St. Louis.
