CLAREN Clarence Lang CE LANG has been named the Susan Welch Dean of the Penn State College of Liberal Arts. Currently, he serves as interim dean of the College of the Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Kansas. Lang received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri, a master’s degree in history from Southern Illinois University and a doctorate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
