NANCY S. NI Nancy Niemi EMI has been appointed provost and vice president of academic affairs at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Currently, she is director of faculty teaching initiatives at Yale University. Niemi received a bachelor’s degree in literature from the University of Rochester, a master’s degree in education from Elmira College and a Ph.D. from the University of Rochester.
