WALTER SMITH III

Walter SmithWALTER SMITH III has been appointed chair of the Woodwind Department at Berklee College of Music. Prior to his new role, he served as an associate professor of jazz studies at Indiana University. Smith earned a bachelor’s degree from Berklee College of Music, a master’s degree from Manhattan School of Music and a Graduate Diploma in jazz performance from the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz.
