CUNY Board Offers Reduced Tuition, Waives Application Fees for College Of New Rochelle Students

Students at the College of New Rochelle will have the opportunity to seamlessly continue their education at any City University of New York (CUNY) institution following a unanimous resolution passed by the CUNY Board of Trustees.

The board’s resolution establishes an agreement between CUNY and the 115-year-old college that is closing this summer that allows College of New Rochelle students who transfer to a CUNY senior college to pay the in-state tuition rate of $6,730 per year, and students who attend a community college to pay an in-city rate of $4,800 per year. CUNY’s Board of Trustees will also waive College of New Rochelle students’ admission application fee if they transfer to CUNY for the Fall 2019 or Spring 2020 semesters, leaders said.
