FILIZ GARIP

Filiz GaripFILIZ GARIP has been appointed director of the Center for the Study of Economy & Society at Cornell University. Currently, she is a professor of sociology at the university. Garip received a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Bogazici University in Istanbul and a master’s degree in operations research and financial engineering and a Ph.D. in sociology from Princeton University.
