Mary SchuttenMARY SCHUTTEN has been appointed provost and executive vice president at Central Michigan University. She previously served as professor and dean of the College of Health and Human Sciences at San José State University. Schutten earned a bachelor’s degree from Calvin College, a master’s degree from California State University at Long Beach and a doctor of physical education from Indiana University.
