PAMELA RICHARDSON WILKS has been named chief of staff and assistant to the president for strategic initiatives at Edward Waters College. She was associate vice president for academic affairs at Shaw University. Wilks holds a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in English and African-American literature both from North Carolina A&T State University. She holds a Ph.D. in English, literature, and criticism from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
