Hébert, Moore to Receive NAGC Distinguished Scholar Award

Dr. James L. Moore III, vice provost for Diversity and Inclusion and EHE Distinguished Professor at The Ohio State University, will receive the 2019 Distinguished Scholar Award from the National Association for Gifted Children.

Moore will be recognized alongside Dr. Thomas Hébert, a professor of Gifted and Talented Education at the University of South Carolina.

“The awards program shines a light on those who are making a difference in supporting gifted children as they reach to achieve their best, and Drs. Hébert and Moore are influential leaders in gifted education research,” said Dr. Sally Krisel, NAGC board president.

Hébert and Moore will be recognized at the NAGC 66th Annual Convention in Albuquerque, N.M. in November.
