RICHÉ BARNES

RICHÉ BARNES has been appointed profes-sor and chair of the Gender Studies depart-ment at Mount Holyoke College, effective January 2020. She currently serves as pro-fessor of anthropology and dean of Pierson College at Yale University. Barnes earned a bachelor’s degree from Spelman College, a master’s degree from Georgia State Univer-sity, and a master’s degree and Ph.D. from Emory University.
