Tara Williams TARA WILLIAMS has been named dean of the Honors college at the University of Alabama. She is currently a professor of English and associate dean at Oregon State University. Williams holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Florida as well as a master’s degree and Ph.D. from Rutgers University.
