Roland Mitchell ROLAND MITCHELL has been appointed dean of the College of Human Sciences and Education at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where he has currently been serving as interim dean. Mitchell holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Fisk University in Nashville, a master’s degree in higher education from Vanderbilt University and a Ph.D. in educational research from the University of Alabama.
