Shelly CastanedaSHELLY CASTANEDA  has been appointed executive director of college safety at Bakersfield College in California. The former chief deputy of the Kern County Sheriff’s office, Castaneda holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Bakersfield College and a master’s degree in public administration from California State University, Bakersfield.
