Dayna BowenDAYNA BOWEN MATTHEW has been ap-pointed the first female dean of George-town Law. She is currently the University of Virginia (UVA) Law School’s William L. Matheson and Robert M. Morgenthau Dis-tinguished Professor of Law; the F. Palmer Weber Research Professor of Civil Liberties and Human Rights; and professor of public health sciences at UVA. She holds a bach-elor’s from Harvard-Radcliffe College, a J.D. from UVA School of Law and a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado Denver.
