Your excellent article (see “Laying Out a Blueprint for Diversity,” June 14) failed to mention that 1) Professor Gary A. Bowden is a professor of the practice in the Architecture Program of the School of Architecture,
Planning and Preservation at Maryland, and 2) that the diversity initiative which Bowden so ably led is part of the program’s strategic plan to maintain Maryland’s place among public universities most open to diversity, and to help the architecture profession realize the increasing benefits of diversity, nationally and globally.
