That lawsuit filed by White conservative Ed Blum using Asians as proxies to fight affirmative action may have revealed in discovery a complex and unique admissions process at Harvard. But using race to determine admissions is legal, and the suit doesnāt justify changing current law.

America isnāt divided by pundits and peddlers. It isnāt divided by vacuous political labels that tell us little about peopleās commitment to mutual progress. Our country is divided because promoting the politics of exclusion is as American as apple pie.
