Online learning has increasingly become a more widely accepted and viable option. The Higher Education Act (HEA), the law that helps students finance their postsecondary education, has not been reauthorized since 2008. A lot has changed in the last 11 years, including higher education, and the law that was passed in 2008 is no longer responsive to the challenges facing today’s students.
