University of North Carolina Ashville Placed on Lockdown After Threats

The University of North Carolina Asheville was placed on lockdown Friday, after direct threats were made to several university offices, according to Asheville Citizen Times.

On Friday, several offices at the university received a direct from an unidentified individual demanding to paint over an on-campus Black Lives Matter mural, according to university officials.

State and local authorities are investigating.
