Yale University Drama School Goes Tuition-Free Following $150 Million Gift

The Yale University School of Drama is going tuition-free due to a $150 million donation from entertainment executive David Geffen, WTNH reported. This applies to both the school’s current and future students.

Yale University School Of Drama E1625162902735Tuition costs will be eliminated for students pursuing a degree or certificate enrolled for fall semester and returning students.

The drama school will be renamed the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale University.

The gift – the largest on record in American theater history – makes the school the first tuition-free drama school.
